My child's first dentist appointment
| |||||||||
|
|
"Dr. Epstein, when should my child first see a dentist?" |
|
As soon as your child’s first teeth
come in, it’s important that you begin to brush them after meals,
and to keep your eye on them in good lighting for any imperfections.
Young children need assistance to be sure they are brushing
thoroughly, so be prepared to help them finish the job properly. If
you have any questions or concerns, we’ll be glad to help at any
age.
Your child should visit a dentist once the first teeth have come in, no later than by two years of age. An early examination at Family Dental Group and preventive care will protect your child's smile now and in the future. For more answers about your baby's dental care call us at (203) DEN-TIST. |
